Deepika, who won the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for Best Actor for 'Chhapaak', played the protagonist in the film also marked her debut as a producer with this film. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani won the 'Critic's Best Actress' award and actress Sushmita Sen won 'Best Actress-Web Series' for her role in Arya.
