Lok Sabha election: EC deploys central forces to ensure peaceful polling in violence-hit West Bengal

The Election Commission has decided that central forces - and not state police - will be deputed at polling booths across West Bengal in the remaining three phases of voting in Lok Sabha election 2019. 660 companies of Central Armed Police Force will be deputed for the fifth phase here.
